Expect the unexpected. That is what I have come to expect over the past 5 weeks. Today was no exception. Getting up to speed with the new team in the afternoon was definitely an adjustment. Luckily the team had reached a pretty natural breaking point earlier on and I was able to pick up working on the UI layer that will extend over the core objects. We dove into incorporating Sinatra into our design scheme. Sinatra itself seems pretty straight-forward and we had a general idea of how to route and create views within about 45 minutes. I’m confident we should have a solid UI running tomorrow that we can push up to Heroku.
